There's been a lack of posts due to the fact that, well, I have nothing to say. I'm so boring lately. Also, my laptop's power cord and I are having issues. By issues, I mean it's stopped working and I can't deal with that. So I'm waiting on a new one to *hopefully* fix my problem.
Also, I haven't been reading most of your blogs because my blogroll is on my laptop and nowhere else.. so I will try to get back to all of them asap. Let's face it though, I was already behind.
That's all I have to say for now, soooo toodles.

La de dah
Forgive me, I'm all over the place.
Tonight is the Survivor: Gabon premiere. AND the season premiere of Grey's Anatomy. Yeah, I'm pretty much a tv whore. Whatev.
Went to CVS on Sunday and got: 2 VO5 Shampoos, 2 Glade Sprays, Crest Pro-health rinse, Brach's indian corn, and a newspaper..used some coupons and got it all for..... .81!! Go me! I love saving money.
Being home all day was bad news bears and I went shopping online. I love spending money even more than saving money it seems. Hello, Wet Seal! They're having some great sales. Got 4 new tops for $20.00!
So yeah, blah blah. Sorry to have been rambling.

Tomorrow is my birthday! :) I've been trying to figure out what Joe got me for ages. I can't help it, I'm impatient and nosey. And I love birthday present hints. Who doesn't?

Mmm..!
Went to the grocery store with Joe tonight, and I saw the most amazing thing ever. This.
Well, kinda. It was in a different bag, buuuut they are back. My favorite Doritos of all time, finally back. I was so sad when I couldn't find them anymore. It says they're limited edition, but maybe they're lying? I can only hope!

Islands aplenty?
I'm sitting here watching Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Island, and a thought occurred to me. Are there islands sitting empty all over the world, just waiting for a reality show to take them over? Think about it, shows like Survivor, Temptation Island, and now this. I know there are others, I just can't think of them right now, and I refuse to do (anymore) research on reality tv.
Where do these islands come from? Aren't there ever people living on them? What's going on here??

Busy busy
I haven't posted in over a week. I've been extra busy lately with work and life itself, so taking the time out to write a blog about it seemed a little unneccessary. I've also been neglecting everyone's blogs, and I know it's going to take me forever to catch up. My google reader must be going crazy, poor thing.
Anyway, and update on my life. Bullets cause I suck at life:
Anyway, and update on my life. Bullets cause I suck at life:
- Working a bunch of extra shifts this week, because I like monies.
- Want a new pair of nikes, badly. But the ones I like are $95.
- My birthday is coming up and I'm excited to spend it with Joe.
- Speaking of Joe, he's still amazing. Heart him.
That's all I can think of right now, so it's quite obvious that my life is boring at the moment. I've been too busy to have any fun. I haven't even watched Gossip Girl yet. (gasp) Don't worry, I'm on it.

Yes, I am lame
So excited for the season premiere of Gossip Girl tonight. And One Tree Hill. Seriously, could my night get any better?
Oh yeah, it could. The Hills comes on too. Jeez.

My humble abode
My sister just walked into my room. We had the following very amusing conversation.
Me: Welcome to my humble abode.
Sister: (making a confused face)
Me: You do know what that means, right?
Sister: ..house? Is that Spanish?
Me: No..
Sister: Then what is it??
Me: It's English.
Sister: Oh.
She's something else.

I'll pass on Polygamy
Joe sent me this link while he was at work today.
I told him, "Polygamy isn't the key to anything if you want to keep your life."

Heavy things = Pain
I went to Best Buy with the boyfriend on Saturday to get a tv stand for the new apartment. As the guy was helping him put it in the car, I heard him comment that "she's got some weight on her." (meaning the stand, of course!) I didn't think anything of it and we started the drive home. Here's the conversation we had on the way:
Me: How are you going to get that into the apartment?
Joe: I'm going to carry it.
Me: Well, are you going to get someone to help you, it looks heavy.
Joe: Yeah. You're going to help me.
Me: ...oh.
Joe: And it's glass so you better not drop it.
We get back to the apartment and start to get the stand out of the car. It's heavy. Like really heavy. And I'm tiny. Like 5' and only 95 pounds. Clearly, I'm weak. We start to carry it towards the apartment and I can barely make it 2 feet. It's so heavy. I tell Joe it's too heavy, I have to drop it. He tells me not to lay it down flat or we'll never be able to pick it back up. I take this to mean "don't put it down," so I try to keep going. At this point, I know I'm red in the face, breathing hard, basically about to die. And then we get to the steps. So many of them til the apartment. And by so many, I mean like ten, so you know it was heavy. I'm all hunched over, practically holding it with the tips of my fingers, so close to dropping it. But I know I can't. Joe will be pissed. We make it up the steps, baaaarely and into the apartment. I almost drop it to the floor, and collapse. By now, I'm crying. My back hurts so much. To recap, I'm laying on my stomach on the floor. Crying.
Joe feels terrible (as he should, haha). I guess he didn't realize how heavy it would be for me. He tells me I never have to lift anything ever again. And gives me a back rub. Now I know he feels bad cause I'm always begging him to give me back rubs and he never wants to.
So, it's two days later. My back still hurts. I think I'm permanently broken. Heeeeelp.
